A mineworker dies at two Rivers Platinum mine in Limpopo

The National Union of Mineworkers (NUM) is highly disturbed after a fatal incident happened at Two Rivers Platinum when moving machinery at South Main Decline drove over an employee who was a member of NUM yesterday afternoon. Two Rivers Platinum Mine is a joint venture between African Rainbow Minerals and Impala Platinum. 

The NUM would like to send its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased and the entire workers at Two Rivers Platinum Mine during this difficult time and calls on all mining companies to prioritize health and safety of workers not profits. 


Metrobus halts all bus services
